Discover the Country Kids Noosa Difference
Country Kids Noosa combines the welcoming atmosphere of a smaller childcare centre with thoughtfully designed spaces for learning, play and connection.
Our boutique size allows educators to form meaningful relationships with children and families. Each child can be recognised as an individual, with their interests, routines, strengths and developmental needs helping to shape their early learning experience.
Children are encouraged to participate actively in their learning, contribute their own ideas and explore the world around them through play, projects, conversation and hands-on discovery.
Natural Outdoor Play and Learning
Our spacious, well-shaded outdoor environment gives children room to move, investigate, imagine and connect with nature.
Children can develop their physical skills through active play while also discovering the natural world through sensory experiences, creative activities and child-led exploration.
Outdoor learning supports many areas of development, including:
- Physical confidence and coordination
- Creativity and imagination
- Problem-solving
- Social skills and cooperation
- Curiosity about the natural world
- Independence and resilience
Our outdoor environment is an important extension of the learning rooms, giving children opportunities to learn through movement, discovery and play.
Learning Environments for Every Stage
Country Kids Noosa has two dedicated learning rooms designed to support children at different stages of their early development.
Toddlers and Pre-Kindergarten
Approximately 18 months to 3.5 years
Our younger children learn through movement, sensory exploration, imaginative play and secure relationships with their educators.
The program supports children as they develop communication, independence, confidence and early social skills.
Educators observe each child’s interests and introduce experiences that encourage them to investigate, experiment and learn at their own pace.
Kindergarten
Approximately 3.5 to 5 years
Our kindergarten program supports children during their important year before starting school.
Led by a bachelor-qualified early childhood teacher, the program combines play, project work, group experiences and intentional teaching.
Children are supported to develop:
- Social and emotional confidence
- Communication and early literacy
- Early numeracy and problem-solving
- Independence and self-help skills
- Confidence participating in groups
- Friendships and cooperation
- Curiosity and creative thinking
The goal is not simply to prepare children academically, but to help them feel confident, capable and ready for the transition to school.
Free Kindy in Noosa
Country Kids Noosa offers a government-approved kindergarten program for eligible children in the year before they begin Prep.
Eligible families may access up to 15 hours of Free Kindy each week for 40 weeks of the year.
Our kindergarten program is delivered by a qualified early childhood teacher and provides a balance of play-based learning, intentional teaching, group experiences and child-led projects.
Families are encouraged to speak with our team about eligibility, session arrangements and how Free Kindy applies to their child’s enrolment.
Play-Based Early Learning
At Country Kids Noosa, children are active participants in their own learning.
Our educators pay attention to children’s questions, interests and ideas, then create experiences that help them explore those interests in greater depth.
Learning may begin with something as simple as:
- Discovering an insect in the garden
- Building with natural materials
- Creating an artwork
- Sharing a story with friends
- Helping prepare food
- Asking how something works
- Working together to solve a problem
Through these everyday experiences, children develop communication skills, creativity, confidence, independence and an understanding of the world around them.
Nurturing the Whole Child
Our early learning program supports every area of a child’s development.
This includes their:
- Social and emotional wellbeing
- Communication and language
- Physical development
- Creativity and imagination
- Confidence and independence
- Early literacy and numeracy
- Relationships with others
- Connection with nature and community
We understand that every child develops differently. Our educators provide encouragement, guidance and appropriate challenges while allowing children the time and space they need to grow.
